Daves 2009

2009 was a great year for me.  I'm jogging the old memory bank to try and do a year in review, so here we go.  First of all, a huge thank you to Ashley. You've made 2009 my best year ever and 2010 is going to be even better. 

January-Not much to remember from January that I can recall.

February-Work Began on the house which should have been done in April.  Key words "should have been done". I started watching the Unit and the greatest show known to human man: 24

March-Other than watching 24 and playing a bunch of games, nothing much else happened.

April- Rumors begin to rumble that Kidd Chris is making a comeback with an internet show.  Dave is excited, really excited.  We find out that 24 Season 8 will take place in the Big Apple.

May-Kidd Chris returns to the airwaves err the Fiber Optics after a long year off after CBS Radio effed him.  The broadcast opened with soundclips from the 7 Million Dollar Man and hillarity ensued afterwards.  I've got to be honest for a sec. This was one of the highlights of the year for me.  It was so good to hear the guys back and to hear Juliet Huddy and Open Mike again as well.  Chris said at the time that the internet show would end in October and we immediately began counting down the end.  Little did we know, things wouldn't end in October.

June-I began watching Rescue Me.  Great Show.  It's continued thus far.

July-Lots of work on the house.  Quit smoking and saving the best for last I made the best decision of my life, to ask Ashley to marry me.

August-Ashley got her dream job and more work on the house.

September- House completed, moved in on the 11th

October-Kidd Chris left the airwaves on the internet.

November- Divorce was final, celebrated being 36 and Kidd Chris started at KUFO in Portland.

December- New Car (at least to me), Finally off Christmas.  Thump died which broke my heart.  She was such a good girl and I'm glad we got to spend a few months with her before she passed on. 

Well that's all I can remember for the year.  I'll try to pay more attention in 2010.  2009 was a great year and 2010 is only gonna be better.
