Sad sad news. Harry Kallas died today before the Nationals-Phillies game at the age of 73. Harry had one of the most unique voices in the industry and yet again, baseball has lost one of it's greatest voices and one of those voices that takes you back to your childhood.. I was never a Phils fan, but just listened to the Phils-Braves game last week just to hear Harry's voice. He had a great style and who can forget his countless voiceovers for commercials and the NFL. One of my favorite announcers bar none and he will be greatly missed. RIP Harry. I'm convinced that heaven needed another great announcer and goodness knows, Harry fits that bill.
Digg me.
