Vols Football

Now that I've had a bit of time to calm down after yesterday's loss, I have to say that I'm still upset. I'm 34 years old and that was one of the most embarrasing games I've ever seen in my life. UT"s offense didn't show up and the defense wasn't stellar either. Here's how I see the rest of the season go.

Loss Sept. 27 Auburn* Auburn
Win Oct. 4 Northern Illinois Knoxville
Loss Oct. 11 Georgia* Athens
Win Oct. 18 Mississippi State* Knoxville
Loss Oct. 25 Alabama* Knoxville
Win Nov. 1 South Carolina* Columbia
Win Nov. 8 Wyoming (HC) Knoxville
Win Nov. 22 Vanderbilt* Nashville
Win Nov. 29 Kentucky* Knoxville

5 Losses for a University of Tennessee team is not only embarrassing, it's pathetic. I feel that I'm being sympathetic and overrating the Vols since we could possibly lose to Carolina and Vandy as well. It's time for Fulmer to go. College Football has passed him by, and the Sabans, Meyers, and Carrolls of the college football world have bested him. We need new blood and someone who can recruit top talent. Bruce Pearl has done more with less in his short time at UT than Fulmer ever has done. I'm going to say something that I've heard a lot of Vol fans say the last few days, BRING ON BASKETBALL!!!!
