Thoughts on Artie Lange

I really thought I'd posted something on this but Jim pointed out that I didn't.  For those who don't know, on Jan 3rd, Artie was rushed to the hospital after an apparent suicide attempt.  Even though I don't listen to Howard anymore, I still keep up with Artie, because he and Jim Norton are two of my favorite comedians ever.  Comedians are so funny because much of their material comes from a deep dark place.  Mitch Hedberg, Richard Jenne, and the list goes on and on are just a few of the best who've left us way too soon and dealt with personal demons which they eventually succumbed to.  I wish the best for Artie and I hope he makes it past the demons inside.  Being an addict myself (at least Cigarettes) helps me to understand how hard it is to break that cycle, so I can't imagine being addicted to heroin and other substances.  Good luck Artie,  I hope things are better soon, and I'll be picking up your new DVD when it comes out later this year.
