Ashley, Andrew and I had this discussion a few weeks ago, but what are the songs that just tear you up? Not Necessarily sad songs, just songs that make you emotional. For me, here's a few of them.
1. The Pretenders-I'll Stand By You- not sure why, but this one just gets to me. I can't listen to it without being sad.
2. Angel-Sarah McLachlan- I think it's the ASPCA commercial which made the song so sad for me.
3. The Verve- Bittersweet Symphony- So sad and one of the best songs of the 1990's if not ever.
4. The Beatles- A Day in the Life
5. Johnny Cash- Sunday Morning Coming Down- You think you've got problems, imagine the fella in this song.
6. Hurt-Johnny Cash and NIN- I guess it's because of both the lyrics and it's one of the last songs the man in black recorded.
7. At Last-Etta James- And Now My Heart's wrapped up in clover, for you are mine at last!!!
8. November Rain- Guns N Roses- I'll just end up walking in the Cold November Rain.
9. When I See You Smile-She knows why!!
10. Don't Stop Believing-Because when you hear it on the Kidd Chris Show, you know something bad is getting ready to happen. I hope we never hear it on the show again.
