I'm glad to see that NY is giving gay marriage a fighting chance by debating a bill which would legalize it in NY. As all my readers know, I'm a huge proponent of Gay Marriage and feel that it's not the government's responsibility to determine who can and who can't get married and I'd love to see them out of the marriage license business permanently. I'm still hopeful for the day in this country when anyone can marry anyone else they'd like. It's a pipe dream for now, but I hope it's a reality someday.
