Schilling Interested...Are the Cubs?

I'd like to see the Cubs sign Schilling but I'm not sure they will

According to a report in the Orlando Sentinel , Curt Schilling wants
to pitch for the Cubs ...or the Tampa Bay Rays this season. Schilling
has not decided if he will play or not this year after missing the
entire 2008 season. Bruce Miles of the Daily Herald asked the Cubs
about a possible interest and he was told they have not spoken to
Schilling but would be open to the idea . The Cubs have enough
pitching on paper to win their third straight division title, but as
the old cliche goes there is no such thing in baseball as enough
pitching. Would Curt Schilling, if healthy, be a fit for the Chicago
Cubs? Schilling is not " looking to be on an opening day roster " and
has yet to decide whether he will make a comeback after shoulder
surgery last June. Schilling said his shoulder is feeling fine and he
will make a decision on his future in the next few weeks. According to
the Tribune on Saturday night , Jim Hendry did not shoot down the
idea . Stay Tuned....
