My 2008 Album of the Year

My 2008 Album of the Year goes to (no big surprise here)

The Raconteurs Consolers of the Lonely

Fantastic album by all accounts.  This is an album that everyone must own.  Old Enough is one of the finest pieces of music I've ever heard, but my favorite songs on the disc are the sultry "You Don't Understand Me" and "Carolina Drama".  It was a tough decision choosing between this album and AC/DC's new "Black Ice", but in the end the Raconteurs won out.   Even if you don't like the White Stripes, give the Raconteurs a chance.  Just a fantastic album and a fantastic followup to Broken Boy Soldiers.
