2008 Song of the Year

I know it's only been out a short time, but this is the song of the year for me at least.

Old Enough by the Raconteurs with Ricky Skaggs and Ashley Monroe.  A song like this makes you wish that Jack White and Company would put out a whole cd of bluegrass themed music.  Ashley Monroe has a beautiful voice and Ricky Skaggs is perfect on harmony as well.  As I posted last week, I'd suggest everyone buy this one and give it a listen.  I loved the original Old Enough, but this version is much much better.   My other top songs of the year were Washington Square by the Counting Crowes, Skies on Fire by AC/DC, and I'm not Jesus by Apocalyptica.  Do yourself a favor and pick up this single from ITunes or Amazon.com.  I don't think you'll be disappointed.
