Brian Kelly to The Dome?

I've heard a bit of chatter about why Brian Kelly wasn't given more consideration in the coaching search at UT. Here's my best guess. Kelly will be hired by Notre Dame soon and has been in contact with them for a while. I'd say that Mike Hamilton and UTAD knew that Kelly was soon to be property of the Dome and stepped away from him. The real question is if Kelly can turn around ND? I truly felt that if Weis couldn't do it, it couldn't be done, but we'll see.
