I finally watched the first four episodes of Grey's Anatomy via my IPod and ITunes this weekend and it's started out really slow. I love Lexy (she's my replacement for Kate Walsh) and I love what they're doing with her character. I'm a bit disappointed that we haven't seen Mc GIJOE back yet, but I'd say we'll see him before season's end. I'm not a huge fan of all the dream sequences, but it is nice to see Denny back.
The Shield is humming along towards the series finale and Pepto Bismol has now become a requirement for viewing. This season has had more twists and turns than a Six Flags amusement park. It's unbelievable to me that Ronnie and Vic tried to kill Shane last week and now Ronnie's getting set up by Shane. It was nice to see Tayvon again and I wonder if we'll see him in one of the five remaining episodes. The amazing thing to me about The Shield is that unlike other series, this series has never had a letdown, ever. It's been nonstop balls to the wall action from the very first episode and I'm sure it will continue thru the series finale. Michael Chiklis has become one of my favorite actors over the run of the Shield, and I'm sure that I'll follow him where he goes next.
I'm a bit apprehensive about watching new shows because of the fear of cancellation. There's nothing worse than getting into a new show then seeing it cancelled. With much trepidation, I downloaded the first two episodes of Life on Mars from ITunes and it's one of the best shows I've ever watched. I won't say anything about the premise, just go to ITunes now and download the first two episodes ($4) and see what you think. Jason O'Mara is an actor that I loved in
"In Justice" and his cameo in Grey's last year, and he's fantastic in Life on Mars. Harvel Keitel is great as well as Michael Imperioli. It's a bit hard to see him as anyone other than Christofahhhh, but he does a great job as a police detective. I've never seen the British Version of the show, but plan on seeing it soon. Give Life on Mars a chance and I think you'll enjoy it.
