California's Proposition 8

I know I have a few readers from the great state of California who read daily and this message is for them and anyone else from California who happens on this blog before Election Day. Please vote against Proposition 8 on Election Day. I'll step on my soapbox for a moment and say that it is not the Government's business who can and cannot wed in this country. It is not the government's business to deny the happiness of two citizens simply because they are the same sex. I find it more than a bit ridiculous that with all the problems going on right now, we're still worried about Gay Marriage. I also find it ridiculous that something that is supposedly "ordained by God" has to go thru the American Legal Process. Please vote against Proposition 8. Gay Marriage hurts no one in the country. Please take a moment to consider others' happiness. For the record, I'm not Gay, but I just feel that rights granted to one group should be granted all groups.
