Zambrano's No-No against the Astros
What a game. I'm not mentioning the team by name only one player on the team, thus keeping my streak of not mentioning them on the blog (Trust me, it's for their safety, not mine). From now on the Team from the north side of a city in Illinois will be known only as the ####. Coming back from a sore rotator cuff, we all just hoped he'd be the Zam of old. Well, he was and delivered the #### first no-hitter since 1972. Nice job Zam. The Astros did their usual amount of whining after the game.
How nice is it to still see the Rays in #1 this late in the season? Sorry Red Sox fans, I'm hoping that the Rays can make it all the way. It's such a good story to see for a sports fan.
