Can't believe I forgot this (XM-Sirius Merger)

Well the Department of Justice approved the merger, now all that's left is the FCC. I hope it's approved soon by them as it would be nice to listen to baseball on my Sirius Unit. Knowing the FCC, it will probably be months before it's approved, but an approval by the Department of Justice is a really good sign.

Well this should be interesting.. because, what are they going to do with each other's satellites?? They will also charge you for what content you want to listen to... and I guarantee that no matter what each side spins, everyone's going to have to shell out $$ for new radios to get "the best of both" (from what I hear, they say you can "still get the content you pay for" - which to me means the same service you have now).

I hope for the best, but expect the worst..

I don't think you'll need a new radio unless you purchased one in the beginning. My best guess is that it will be 19 bucks a month if you want everything from both services, and I'll gladly pay that a month for baseball, hockey, soccer, football, stern and O&A.
