Logan's Shadow Review

I just finished up one of the best games I've ever played. The game has a better cover system than Gears of War and Uncharted, one of the best storylines in gaming this year that ends with the biggest cliffhanger in the series, excellent gunplay, great controls, and is great fun to boot.

Am I talking about Bioshock? Nope Mass Effect? Nope.

I'm talking about Syphon Filter Logan's Shadow.

Most of the readers probably think I'm nuts picking this as a great game. It's on a portable system and games on portable systems are watered down with clunky controls and no storyline. That's the typical response, but not with the Syphon Filter series.

The gameplay is similiar to the Splinter Cell series with more control and better storylines. The Syphon Filter series is THE premier franchise on the PSP as far as I'm concerned. I'm just saddened that there's no new Syphon Filter coming out for a while. If you have a PSP, you simply owe it to the gamer inside you to try this series out. Admittedly, I'm not much of a reviewer, but I'd give this game a solid 9/10. It's a bit on the short side, but is action packed for much of that time.
