Sorry I missed yesterday. I was sick. :(
Today is about Hand Sanitizer. First time I came upon this stuff was when I had my baby, 12-years ago. Obviously, it's everywhere now. Prices vary on it, depending on what brand you get, what kind of super-powers it has, etc. But the main ingredient in it is alcohol. That's it. Nothing fancy. You're not surprised? Then why are you spending $.35 on a jug of alcohol and $2.58 on a bottle of GermX?
About a year ago, we stopped using the hot water in the bathroom sink. It had a leak or something. So I made some home-made hand sanitizer. It was 50% rubbing alcohol and 50% lotion. It works great. It works so great, we have the same mixture at each sink and use it instead of soap/water for hand-sanitizing. Yes, sometimes you have to use soap and water, but most of the time, hand sanitizing is just fine.
Get some cheap lotion. Get some cheap alcohol. Mix them together in a bottle and shake shake shake. For $1.25, you'll be set for a year!
And keep your germs to yourself!
