24 First Two Episodes

I finally got around to watching the first two episodes this morning (I've been under the weather and really screwed up my ankle again) and if the first two episodes are any indication, this may very well be the best season of 24 yet. The whole thing just feels like Season 5 to me all over again thus far. The scenes with Grandpa Jack were touching.  Here's a few scattered thoughts so far.

-Did anyone have any doubt the brother was involved in the plot?  I'm curious to see where they take this

-Freddie Prinze surprisingly didn't suck.

-It's good to see Chloe and Jack working together again right from the very start.

-So President Taylor and Henry are no longer together after she had Olivia put into jail.  Nice!!

-Ethan is now Secretary of State

I'm still hopeful that President Logan comes back in a big way and I sure hope Aaron Pierce makes an appearance.  Off to a great start thus far for sure.  I'll try and watch episodes 3 and 4 tomorrow morning and post my thoughts on them.  I'm so glad 24 and Jack are back!!!
