Please, if you plan on getting a pet for Christmas, take a minute tomorrow or Thursday and head to your local animal shelter. There's bunnies, cats, dogs, lizards, birds, and all sorts of other creatures available for a nominal adoption fee. You're saving a life. If you're not interested in a new pet, then how about paying the adoption fee for one of the animals there. Christmas is about the greatest gift that was ever given. How about giving the gift of life to a shelter animal this month? Too many die each day and this is a chance to save a life. If there are no shelters in your area, then please donate to the ASPCA.
