Almost Done with Batman Arkham Asylum

I went and rented Arkham Asylum yesterday and I think I'm almost done with it.  I'm to the third encounter with the Scarecrow and cut it off to come to work.  To be honest, and I'm sure I'm in the minority here, I'm quite bored with it.  I do like the story, but it seems I'm doing an awful lot of the same stuff over and over again.  I've enjoyed seeing some classic Batman characters, but it does seem like a lot of rinse and repeat.  I'm hoping the lat part of it picks up for me and redeems the game for me.
