I finished up Season 3 of Rescue Me earlier this morning and immediately raced to Blockbuster to get the 4th season. Season 3 was the best thus far (at least to me). The last couple of episodes were some of the most powerful episodes of TV I've ever seen. The voicemails between Johnny and Tommy that were unheard and unanswered, the death of Johnny, Jimmy's health problems, and Franco's desperate attempt for some sort of normalcy in his life. I'm not gonna lie, it was good to see one Arthur Lange show up near the end of season 3, and I remember from listening to Stern, that he'll be in Season 4 as well. I'm curious to see what happens with Tommy and the house fire, and whether Jimmy will be ok. I hope they didn't kill him off in Season 4 as he's one of my favorite characters on the show. Oh well, onto Season 4. One question for anyone else who watches the show, do I need to watch the "minisodes" before or after Season 4? Do they pertain to Season 4 or Season 5?

Not really, although some of them are pretty damn funny. They're mostly little one-shot stories that don't affect the overall plot.
