More Infamous stuff and Crackdown

I finally got a chance to enter the "gigawatt power blades" power that I got from Gamestop this morning.  To be honest, it's not as powerful as some of the other powers in the game, but it's a nice addition as a pre-order bonus.  I'm not sure if you'd have gotten it via unlocks or if it was a power created specifically for pre-orders. 

Andrew started playing inFamous and he's playing evil, so I got to see a bit of what I'm in store for once I start a new game and go the evil route.  I like the red lightning and red reticule you get for being evil.  I cannot wait to finish up the good side and jump right back into the evil side.  inFamous is just loads of fun and you'll find that you lose quite a bit of time playing the game.  Hands down the best game on the PS3 (I'm looking at you Resistance, Uncharted, MLB09, Ratchet and Clank, Metal Gear 4, Heavenly Sword and every other PS3 exclusive).  I just hope the game sells so we'll see more inFamous down the road.  I'm not a big fan of open world games (detest the GTA series and the Saint's Row series), but I love superhero based open world games.  I guess it's the extra powers and such that separates it from the utterly dull worlds (in my opinion) of GTA and Saint's Row.

As I posted yesterday, I also got Crackdown again for the 360.  I had to start over from where I had progressed in the SP since I lost the save (that was 3 or 4 XBOX'es ago).  I'm probably going to try and finish up inFamous then dive headfirst into Crackdown again and hopefully finish it before Prototype comes out in June.   It's a good month for sandboxing.
