I got disc one of the USA series Burn Notice in the mail today from Netflix. I've heard the crew on the Geekbox Podcast rave about it on their shows so I decided to give it a shot. I have tomorrow off so I'll see if I like it. It looks interesting to say the least and God knows I like spy movies and the genre enough.
I told my loyal readers ages ago that Infamous was going to be a sleeper hit and it appears that the sleeper part may have dropped. It's getting great impressions all over the intertubes and if you needed any more motivation to get it, then the Uncharted 2 multiplayer beta that ships with it should be enough. The demo comes out on Friday for Gameschlop pre-orders so head over to Nazi headquarters, pre-order it and get your code.
Captain Cut-in Barack Obama means no TV tonight at least from 8-9pm. I don't mean to be down on the prez, but for Christ's sake, how many times in your first 100 days are you gonna have primetime press conferences? Wonder if he'll bail out the fucking networks for their lost revenue during the first hour of primetime? If you remember correctly, Dubya did it so much that most all of the major networks just began to tell him "no" after a certain point. As for my impressions on what Mr. Obama has done in the first 100 days, I'd have to say the he's not done much. Change takes time people. The people who are giving him shit about it don't realize that it's fucking impossible to get anything done in Washington. I'm not a fan of all this bailout shit and haven't been since the first one was passed before Dubya left office.
