Swine Flu and how newscasters wil cover it.

Is it just me or does this whole Swine Flu thing reek of the Bird Flu and SARS and every other possible pandemic that has been proposed to us over the last few years?  I don't mean to sound flippant about it, but is this yet another case of the media scaring us instead of preparing us?  Here's how most every local newscast will go today

Story #1 More Swine Flu Cases in NY, death toll in Mexico, etc

Story #2 How long till the Swine Flu reaches here? (here being your local television market)

Story #3 How to protect yourself from Swine Flu? (masks and showing local reporter washing hands on camera)

Story #4 What medicines are effective against it and how local pharmacies are gearing up in case of a possible outbreak
