Scrabble IPhone Review

Price $4.99
Developer: EA
Rating 5/5

I'm still a firm believer in the fact that $.99-$3.00 is the sweet spot in the ITunes App Store and anything above that isn't an impulse purchase for most buyers in these tough economic times. As of this writing, Scrabble is $4.99 and it's worth every penny. These old board games that have been converted into digital format are lots of fun without the hassle of setting the board up and cleaning up afterwards. This is EA's best game on the ITunes store as far as I'm concerned and I've played most of them or demo'ed them. You can play against 3 levels of computer opponents ranging from easy to mind numbingly difficult. You also have the ability to set up house rules and adapt the game to your liking. The computer opponents are quite good and there's also the ability to play a local multiplayer game over your wireless network. I'd love to see the ability to play over Edge/3G, but I'm not sure that EA would put that in. Overall, this is a must have game for any Scrabble fan. It's an excellent time waster and a lot of fun.
