My most anticipated Games for 2009

Well now that Andrew and I are co-owners of all three next gen systems. Here are my most anticipated games for 2009. You'll notice no Wii Games on my list. I'm glad Andrew likes his Wii, but it's just not the system for me. These are in no particular order.

1. MLB Front Office Manager 2009(FEB 2009)-I hope and pray this game is even half as good as NFL Head Coach 09. I'm so looking forward to it. I know it won't have the depth of an OOTP or Baseball Mogul, but I hope it's fairly deep. We'll just have to see

2. MLB The Show 2009 (March 2009)-We finally get expandable 40 man rosters as well as day to night games. The Show was my sports game of the year in 2008 and I don't see it being any different in 2009. This series is still THE best reason to get a PS3. It's the best representation of a sport ever.

3. Killzone 2 (FEB 2009)-From reading impressions based on the BETA, it appears that this may live up to the hype. This was one of the games that I had to have a PS3 by the time it came out and I have it pre-ordered already. I've watched most all the videos that have been released for it, so consider me hyped.

4. Ghostbusters (Summer 2009)-4 player co-op, Bill Murray, Dan Akroyd, Harold Ramis. I'm all over that. I loved the Ghostbusters movie and I'm sure the game will be great.

5. HALO 3 ODST (Fall 2009)-It's Halo without the Chief. I hope it's a bit like Ghost Recon. It should be good even though it will be short.

6. Uncharted 2 Among Thieves (Fall 2009)-The first one is still my favorite PS3 game not named MLB. The second one looks to be bigger and better. I still would love to see an action flick based off the games.

7. Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 (Fall 2009)-Modern Warfare was simply put a masterpiece. To me Infinity Ward is one of the most brilliant developers in the gaming industry, mastering both online and offline gameplay. I hope they take a cue from Treyarch and give us online co-op as well.

8. Resident Evil 5 (March 2009)-I've never played a Resident Evil game. Yep, amazing huh? This will be my first and it looks to be a good one.

9. Heroes Over Europe (Fall 2009)-I loved Blazing Angels (both of em) and loved Heroes of the Pacific, so this one is a no-brainer for me.

10. Tom Clancy Hawx (Fall 2009)- I love flight games so this one is a must buy for me. I hope that they've retained some of the team from BA. I also hope the chase camera makes a comeback from the Blazing Angels series.

11. Prototype(Fall 2009)- From seeing the screens and videos of this game, it looks exciting to say the least.

12. Infamous (2009)- Sony Exclusive and looking great.

And Finally

13. GOD OF WAR III (Fall 2009)- This is my most anticipated game and I hope that it makes it out in 2009. I've played every single one multiple times and this is my favorite game series. Sorry Halo, MLB, Uncharted and others, there's no better game than God Of War and no better anti-hero than Kratos.

Well there you have it, my most anticipated of the year. I'm sure others will creep up, but these 12 are definite buys at least with me.
