Proposition 8 Defeat

I haven't blogged much about this, but Prop 8 was narrowly defeated in California. Quint from Memory Almost Full said it best in his comment on the topic

Really bummed out that Prop 8 passed in California. Nothing like legalized discrimination. Completely ridiculous on so many levels. On a night when a huge barrier was broken down, another one was strengthened.

That is so true. It was a night when the hugest of barriers was broken down. I hope that someday down the road, gays, lesbians, and transsexuals will have the same rights that we heterosexual folks have, and I hope that someday, America will become so open that we can have a Gay President. I'll vote for em (provided they're Libertarian hehe)
