My newest IPhone apps

Here are the apps I've downloaded since the last update, the price, and a short review on them.

Google Earth (FREE)
Great app. It's amazing how well Google Earth works on the IPhone. It's a great tech demo to show folks just what can be done with the IPhone.

My Football ($1.99)
Footy scores and standings from around the world. Well worth the pricetag. App has just about every league under the sun

Say Who (FREE)
Just say a person's name and the program will dial the number. Best part is that it's free.

Checkers (FREE)
Just like the game you remember, except there's no mom or dad to let you win. I never realized how bad I sucked at Checkers till I played this game.

Fuzzle ($1.99)
Great game and well worth the price. It's your typical puzzle game and is an excellent time waster.

Trace (FREE)
Another time waster. You trace lines to help your character get across various obstacles. Easy to play and difficult to master. My type of game.

UrbanSpoon (FREE)
Saw this one on an IPhone commercial and it rocks for the undecided like myself. Just shake it (not like a polaroid picture) and it will come up with somewhere for you to eat. Most all the restaurants in my area are listed and it works like a charm. Brilliant App

Shazam (FREE)
Another IPhone commercial. If you've ever heard a song that you want to identify, simply open Shazam and hold it up to a speaker and chances are you'll have not only the title and artist, but also the album and a link to download the song in ITunes. Another brilliant app

i.TV (FREE)
Gives your local television listings and more.

Box.net (FREE)
Upload files to your box.net account and listen or view them on your IPhone. Great to put mp3s, docs, and pdf files up so you can view them on your IPhone.

The Weather Channel app (FREE)
App that provides your local weather forecast as well as a video forecast. It's pretty darn accurate.

Well that's all for now.
