Government Secrecy on the rise
More records are being classified and less information is being sent out by the government.
—Only one-third of requests for documents under the Freedom of Information Act were fully granted last year, the lowest figure in at least 10 years. During the Clinton administration, more than half of FOIA requests were fully granted. The shift is reflected in the growing number of almost completely blacked-out pages of material released by the government to members of the public or news organizations who obtain government records under the law.
Our government is becoming more corrupt by the day and if you don't believe this, then you're in a state of denial. Obama isn't gonna fix this and neither is McCain. It's time for a change.
