Sorry but that ain't gonna happen. John McCain and Ron Paul couldn't possibly be more different. I voted for Paul in the Primaries but wouldn't dare vote for McCain in the election. Ron Paul was about as un-republican as he could be, and that's what made him endearing to alot of folks.
