Tribute to one of my Favorite Bands

The Verve

I figured since I posted the videos a few minutes ago, I should post a bit of a tribute to them as well. When Bittersweet Symphony hit stateside, I was hooked for good. The Verve is one of those bands whose songs mean so much to me. Bittersweet Symphony is pretty self explanatory, but I recommend Lucky Man, Sonnet, and The Drugs Don't Work even more than Bittersweet. This is one of those bands that I'd have loved to have seen live back in the day. Richard Ashcroft and the rest of the band put out some incredible music in the early 90's and they should be applauded for their fine efforts on Urban Hymns. One of my favorite rock bands of all time.
